Chocolate Dipped Heart Rice Krispie Treats

Make fun and festiveheart-shapedrice krispie treats, dipped in chocolate. These chocolate dipped hearts couldn't be simpler. I mean, really, aren't rice krispie treats some of the easiest delicacies. I heart you rice krispie treats - an easy Valentine's Day treat to share. You can even put the rice krispie treats shape on a stick. These really are the best rice krispie treats.

Rice Krispie Treats Ingredients

How to Make Rice Krispie Treats with Marshmallows

  1. Line a 9×13-inch cookie panHeart Rice Krispie Treats (5) with parchment paperHeart Rice Krispie Treats (6), then coat with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Set aside.
  3. In a large saucepan melt the butter and miniature marshmallows over low heat until the marshmallows are just melted.
  4. Add in the salt and vanilla stir to combine.
  5. Remove the pan from the heat, add the Rice Krispies and mix until it is completely and evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
  6. Turn the mixture out into the prepared pan and, using a wooden spoonHeart Rice Krispie Treats (7) or spatula that has been coated in non-stick cooking spray, press the mixture firmly into a packed, even layer.
  7. Allow to set at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.

\How to Dip Rice Krispie Treats:

  2. Set to the side.
  3. Begin to melt your chocolate.

  5. Place your second half onto and add your chocolate.
  6. Stir to melt.
  7. Once melted reduce your heat to low.
  8. Take your rice bar and dip half of it in the chocolate.
  9. Place the rice bar on a pan with parchment paper.
  10. Let it cool
  11. Repeat process with each heart.
  12. Once cool begin to melt your red melting chocolate.
  13. Same way as chocolate above.
  14. Take a large spoon and drizzle the red onto of your rice bars.
  15. Let cool before serving.
