Elite prospects from southeastern Pennsylvania (and beyond) continue the annual ritual of transferring high schools. With the NCAA transfer portal jamming up high school recruiting, we expect there will be a host of extremely talented players who switch schools this spring / summer. Many of them will reclass into a later graduate year.
At Prephoops.com we will do our best to track all the player movements and pass that information on to our readers.
Below is the ninth installment in our Transfer Watch 2024 series.
Malik Brown Malik Brown 6'5" | PF Cardinal O'Hara | 2027 PA – 6’3” / 2027 / Cardinal O’Hara / East Coast Power HGSL / Wing: In 2023-24 this long and wiry athlete with hops was a transition phenom for Lower Merion’s freshman team. Then at the Spring Jam Fest in April as well as the Rare Footage Spring Classic in May, Brown put his name on the recruiting map with several outstanding performances. Earlier this week, Brown decided to take his open court skills and respectable three-point shooting to Cardinal O’Hara.
Christian Matos Christian Matos 6'2" | CG Archbishop Carroll | 2026 State PA – 5’10” / 2026 / Archbishop Carroll / East Coast Power / Combo Guard: Matos exploded onto the scene in 2023-24 by posting an epic sophom*ore season. This lefty posted 17.4 ppg. while shooting 40% from behind the arc (67 3PM) for Methacton. Those stats garnered him 1st Team All-PAC (Liberty Div.) honors. Over the weekend news broke that Matos is transferring to Archbishop Carroll. He will join an extremely talented Carroll guard rotation that includes highly ranked prospects such as Darrell Davis Darrell Davis 5'11" | PG Boys Latin | 2027 MD , Nasir Ralls Nasir Ralls 6'0" | CG Archbishop Carroll | 2026 State PA , Ian Williams Ian Williams 5'9" | PG Archbishop Carroll | 2026 State PA , Munir Greig Munir Greig 6'6" | SF Archbishop Carroll | 2027 State PA and Luca Foster Luca Foster 6'5" | SF Archbishop Carroll | 2026 State PA .
Milak Myatt Milak Myatt 6'3" | SG Cardinal O'Hara | 2026 State PA – 6’3″ / 2026 / Cardinal O’Hara / We R1 / Combo Guard: One of the breakout stars from the 2023-24 season is on the move. This past winter Myatt averaged 12 points to go along with 3.5 rebounds per game for Math, Civics, & Sciences. During the 3A state tournament Myatt increased his scoring average to 16 points per night as he pushed MCS to the 3A semifinals. Myatt’s versatility, dribble pull-up skills and 3-point shooting will be a welcome addition at Cardinal O’Hara. He holds an offer from UTEP.
Julian Sadler – 6’2″ / 2025 / Perkiomen School / PA Coalition / Combo Guard: As a senior at Perkiomen Valley HS, Sadler posted 22.8 points and 5.6 rebounds to go along with 4.4 assists per game. After the 2023-24 season, he was a 1st Team All-PAC, 1st Team All-Area and 1st Team All-District 1-6A selection. Sadler holds offers from Shippensburg (D3) and California University of Pennsylvania (D2), but just announced that he will take at post graduate year at the Perkiomen School.
Eric Scott Eric Scott 5'10" | CG West Catholic | 2027 State PA – 5’10” / 2027 / West Catholic / We R1 / Combo Guard: Last weekend at the Post & Pivot event, we sensed a move was happening with Scott when this former New Foundations Charter standout took the court for West Catholic. In hindsight, it appears that Scott’s jump to West Catholic was already complete, and it became public knowledge at that event. West Catholic is getting a high level 2027 with an accurate 3-point shot and the ability to score or distribute off the bounce. His live dribble passing skills are especially impressive.
