Best Week of the Year!

July 29 – August 2, 2024 Shocco Springs

Eleven22 Student Camp is an exciting week for all students who have completed 6th-12th grade to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ! It is an essential family rhythm within our student ministry where we intentionally retreat together to turn down the noise of this world so we can turn up the volume of God’s voice in our lives.

As our students worship together in both large and small group environments, our prayer is that students will discover and deepen their relationship with Jesus in a way that changes their lives and impacts the remaining 51 weeks of the year!

Camp Waitlist Update – May 7, 2024

We regret to inform you that despite our efforts and collaboration with Shocco Springs to expand capacity, we’ve reached our registration limit for the upcoming Student Camp and are not able to accommodate your student(s) who were on the waiting list. This year’s demand has far exceeded our expectations, and unfortunately, we cannot accommodate everyone who wished to attend despite sending more students to camp than we’ve ever sent before.

Please know that we’re actively working to find solutions and increase capacity for next year. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. If you have further questions, feel free to email us atstudents@coe22.com.

We love you like crazy!

FAQS

What is Student Camp and who is it for?

Eleven22 Student Camp is an exciting week for all students who have completed 6th-12th grade to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ!

It is an essential family rhythm within our student ministry where we intentionally retreat together to turn down the noise of this world so we can turn up the volume of God’s voice in our lives.

Students will gather to worship in large group environments and then break into smaller Family Groups to better facilitate how God is moving in their lives. Our prayer is that, for one week, students will discover and deepen their relationship with Jesus in a way that changes their lives and impacts the remaining 51 weeks of the year!

How is this year's Student Camp different from previous years?

This is the FIRST-EVER Student Camp that The Church of Eleven22 has planned, developed, and produced for our church family! In past years, we attended summer camp in various locations throughout the southeast with different churches in attendance. This year, Eleven22 Students will be the only church attending Student Camp at Shocco Springs.

What is the theme this year?

This year’s theme for Student Camp is BE FREE! rooted in Galatians 5:1, “For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.”

Jesus said that he came to set the captives free. He came to set us free from sin, addiction, self-help, selfishness, and all the things the enemy tries to destroy us with. When we follow Jesus and surrender to his ways, the result is always freedom!

At Student Camp, we pray that students’ eyes will be opened to the freedom that only comes from Jesus! We want to help students understand that Jesus doesn’t just offer freedom in eternity but also right here now! Our prayer is that students would find their identity in Christ and BE FREE!

Where is Student Camp?

Student Camp is at Shocco Springs Camp and Conference Center in Talladega, AL. Shocco is located in the rolling hills of central East Alabama, approximately 7 hours from Jacksonville. Shocco is a host facility whose mission is to provide a distinctly Christian environment in which spiritual transformation can take place.

What will a typical day be like?

A typical day at Student Camp will include large group sessions, worship, family group time, campus group gatherings, and many exciting options for students to build community and have fun!

What is the general schedule?

The general schedule for Student Camp is available here. Please know that a more detailed schedule will be provided when the Camp Prep Center is launched in May. Some details within the schedule are subject to change.

What is the difference between Main Sessions and Family Groups?

Large Group Sessions, similar to weekend services, are times for all Eleven22 students and adults to worship as one church from many locations.

Family Groupsare smaller groups of students intentionally divided by age and gender. At Student Camp, Family Groups will experience the week together, build friendships, and open God’s Word for deeper discussion time with their adult leaders.

Who are the adult leaders serving at Student Camp?

Every adult leader participating in Student Camp (staff & serve staff) are regular attendees of The Church of Eleven22. Most leaders are actively serving in our student ministry across all campuses. Each has been through the required application, interview, and training process.

In addition, every leader participating will be background-approved before they are assigned a position. For the quality and safety of our student ministry environments, we aim to create gender and age-specific groups with ONE leader assigned to every SIX students (1:6 ratio).

What are the payment information and deadlines?

When registering a student online: Deposits Due
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due to complete the registration process for your student. Before submitting your registration, there will be an option to either pay your deposit or you can select to pay the camp price in full. You will need to provide your student with a bath towel AND a beach towel in addition to their toiletries.

Can Student Camp accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions?

If your student has any food allergies and/or dietary restrictions, we ask that you specify when you register them online. We always want to try our best to accommodate our students’ needs. If you need to provide more context or have any additional questions, please communicate with our team at studentcamp@coe22.com.

Can Student Camp accommodate students with medication or special needs?

If your student takes any prescribed medication, we ask that you let us know when registering them online. We will later send you the Student Camp medical waiver where you can specify the medication, instructions, and regularity of the prescribed medication(s).

When you arrive to check in your student on July 29, you will meet our Camp medical team and make sure our information aligns with what you submitted in the medical waiver and drop off medication for our Camp team to administer at Shocco Springs. If your student has any additional special needs, we also ask that you specify when prompted during online registration.

We aim to accommodate all students and give them a great experience. If you need to provide more context or have any additional questions, please communicate with our team at studentcamp@coe22.com.

Are cell phones allowed at Student Camp?

Cell phones will be allowed during approved times within the Student Camp schedule. We highly encourage students to be present without distraction and will discourage phone use during formal meeting times.

How can I receive more information about Student Camp?

In May, we’ll be launching a Camp Prep center in which you will be able to access a more detailed schedule, packing list, waivers and other helpful resources to prepare both you and your student for an amazing week at camp!

If you have specific questions, we invite you to email our team via studentcamp@coe22.com.
