About this game
Welcome to Shell Shockers, an online multiplayer shooter game where everyone is an egg! That's right, arm yourself with a weapon and shoot all the other players to crack them open. Play with a team, with friends, or all by yourself, and see how many kills you can rack up!
How to Play Shell Shockers?
Shell Shockers, despite being a shooter game, is relatively easy to learn and play. Skill might be required as you are playing against other real players, so how good you are depends on how good everyone else in the server is!
You can customize your egg with skins, choose a username (keep in mind, this is publicly visible), select a gamemode, and hop right into the game! Depending on which game mode is being played, the instructions are different:
Free for All (FFA)
It's you against the world in free-for-all all. Shoot every egg in site and rack up the most kills to get the victory!
Teams
In Teams mode, do not immediately shoot every egg you see... some of them are on your side! Choose between red or blue team and kill all the eggs from the other team. The team with the most kills wins!
King of the Coop
Capture the coop! Both teams battle to capture the coop area, and whichever team wins gets 250 golden eggs.
Capture the Spatula
Capture the Spatula is another team-based gamemode. One player has possession of the golden spatula. If a player on the opposing teams kills the wielder of the spatula, they capture the spatula for themselves.
Different Weapons
If you want to get good at Shell Shockers, another great tip is to get familiar with all of the weapons. There are a total of seven different weapons, each with advantages and disadvantages. Learn to master each one and you're sure to be the best egg out there.
The AK-47 is a mid-range automatic rifle. The scrambler is a high-damage shotgun but with high reload times. The free ranger is a semi-auto sniper rifle. The RPG gives massive damage. The whipper is a close range rifle. The crackshot is another sniper rifle. Finally, the TriHard is a medium range burst-fire rifle that requires lots of accuracy to aim... hence the name "TriHard".
Figuring out how each of the guns work is essential to being good at the game. Thankfully, you can pick any gun that you want so that you can always stick with what you know best!
Controls
You can't play Shell Shockers if you don't know the controls! Use the WASD keys to move. Use left click to shoot. E key is used to change weapons. F key is used to make a melee attack and F key is used to throw a grenade. Use R key to reload your weapon. Use space to jump and shift to zoom into the scope.
