Euro 2024 is here, and the full fixture schedule for the tournament in Germany is available alongside the results that will happen every day.
With Euro 2024 now into knockout stages, eight unlucky nations left the tournament in the first round. Croatia were the most high-profile side to exit in the group stage, with Luka Modric unable to inspire his nation to another strong showing. Italy forward Mattia Zaccagni broke their hearts with a 98th-minute equaliser in their final group match, consigning them to third place and eventual elimination. But the Azzurri are now heading home as well after a 2-0 loss to Switzerland in the last 16.
Despite high hopes before the tournament, Scotlandfailed to make the knockout stages in a major tournament once again. A 5-1 loss in their opening match to Germany proved too difficult to overcome, while their group opponents Hungary also couldn't escape Group A. Albania were unlucky against strong opposition in Group B, while Serbia underwhelmed considering their quality. Poland, Ukraine and Czech Republic will all play no further part in Euro 2024, either.
England, meanwhile, have flattered to deceive in Germany. Five points from the group stages proved enough for them to go through as group winners, but they required a 95th-minute overhead kick from Jude Bellingham in the last 16 against Slovakia to spare their blushes and send the game into extra-time before Harry Kane bagged the winner. With tougher tests still to come, signs aren't positive so far for the Three Lions.
After all, the knockout stages are where all of the drama, controversy and emotion intensifies, as each team battles their way for a shot at glory in the final on July 14. And there has already been a shock, with defending champions Italy beaten 2-0 by Switzerland in Berlin on June 29. Later in the day, hosts Germany overcame Denmark by the same scoreline.
England's dramatic win against Slovakia followed the day after, with Spain highlighting their credentials with a 4-1 demolition of Georgia. France narrowly overcame Belgium and Portugal needed penalties to beat Slovenia, but the Netherlands were dominant against Romania in a 3-0 win. The final game of the last 16 saw Turkey beat Austria 2-1 in Leipzig.

FAQs
Which teams are out of Euro 2024?
Following the group stages, eight teams were eliminated from Euro 2024. Every side that finished bottom of their group were automatically knocked out of the tournament, while the two worst sides to have finished third in their respective groups also suffered the same fate.
As a result, Scotland, Hungary, Croatia, Albania, Serbia, Poland, Austria and Czech Republic have all left Euro 2024.
And in the first two last-16 clashes, Italy and Denmark exited the tournament.
Are Scotland out of Euro 2024?
Scotland finished fourth and bottom of Group A at Euro 2024, managing just a solitary point in a draw with Switzerland. Defeats against Germany and Hungary resigned their fate to automatic elimination.
Are Italy still in Euro 2024?
Italy just managed to scrape through to the last 16 of Euro 2024, after Mattia Zaccagni saved their skin with a 98th minute equaliser against Croatia in their final group match. Had the Azzurri lost that match, they would have been going home early in an unsuccessful defence of their European Championship.
But in the last 16, Italy did lose, going down 2-0 to Switzerland in a disappointing display.
